Evan Black
Following his Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture at UNSW, Evan commenced his landscape career in 2006 alongside the late, renowned landscape designer and horticulturist, Peter Fudge. His hands-on experience spanned design and installation, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of construction methods. For 14 years starting in 2009, Evan worked at Environmental Partnership, collaborating with respected landscape architect Adam Hunter.
Evan’s extensive experience includes working with private clients, local governments, government departments including National Parks & Wildlife and the Department of Planning & Environment, as well as property development groups Stockland and Frasers Property.
Evan's mission is to harness the life-enhancing potential of landscapes, whether it's for community projects or private residences. He believes that landscape architecture has the power to create spaces that offer solace and foster vibrant communities in equal measure. Evan's projects aren't bound by style, size, or industry; instead, they share a common objective: to craft places that enhance people's lives.

Through this initial phase, we develop sketch plans and progressively refine material choices and planting concepts. Design Documentation
Our expertise extends to a comprehensive suite of documentation services suitable for projects of varying scales. This includes the preparation of master plans, development application packages, CDC (Complying Development Certificate) packages, CC (Construction Certificate) packages, tender documentation, and thorough construction documentation. Additionally, we furnish detailed landscape specifications and materials schedules to ensure seamless execution of the design vision.
Planting Plans & Schedules
We specialise in crafting meticulous planting plans and schedules tailored to the specific requirements of each project. Our approach emphasises the integration of plant selections to enhance the overall design concept while considering factors such as climate, soil conditions, and maintenance needs. For large-scale projects, we adeptly manage pre-grow contracts to facilitate efficient implementation and long-term vitality of the landscape.
